Went to boyfriend's house for New Year celebrations for the third year in a row. It's interesting to see how some of the people we hang out with have grown and changed since that first year, my senior year of high school. For starters, Stephen wasn't my boyfriend then. Last night turned into a sleepover and this morning we went to the Sussex Queen Diner for breakfast, very typical of winter break get togethers.
Got the sweater dress on sale the day after Christmas, and I just had to buy it because it reminded me of a ridiculous 80s sweater, AND it's sparkly, and I have never met shimmer I didn't like.
The tights are from last year, worn inside out because that way you get just the appropriate amount of shimmer. Worn correctly, you look like C3PO's 3rd cousin. AMAZING four and a half inch heels were a gift from my lovely roommate Erin. She calls them my "silver Lady Gaga shoes", because she knows how I adore the Gaga. Teetering about in them while I tried not to slide on the film of snow on my driveway was interesting, probably comical.
In any case, I hope 2010 is magical for you. Don't make resolutions, resolutions are made to be broken. I for one always try to start the year with a positive attitude. That, I figure, will help me do everything I want to do, like starting this blog!
